Poison Oak

Poison oak appears as a shrub in the eastern United States, as a shrub or vine in the western half of the country. A perennial weed, the plant's name derives from its leaves, which are similar in shape to oak tree leaves. It usually grows low to the ground, and mature plants produce clusters of small yellow or off-white berries.
