Dispose of household waste promptly and properly, especially when your garbage contains food scraps or empty food and beverage containers.

Store food in airtight containers and avoid leaving uncovered food out in the open between meals.

Make sure your doors and windows are tightly sealed.

Treat the inside of your home with aerosol, pump spray or indoor fogger insecticides. 

Create an insect-proof chemical barrier around your home using a lawn and garden insectide of your choice.
